Designed to control flow, inline valves play a crucial role in fluid power applications. Keep process media under control with inline valves from Anchor Fluid Power.
Benefits of Fluid Control ValvesThe primary function of a check valve is to prevent hydraulic fluid from backflowing in the system. They are constructed with two ports, one acting as an inlet for oil and the other as an outlet. An internal spring determines to pressure required to open the check valve, often referred to as the cracking pressure. Anchor Fluid Power check valves are offered in 7 PSI and 65 PSI standard cracking pressures. Because this valve type permits media to flow in one direction, it’s commonly called a check, one-way, or non-return valve. Anchor Fluid Power check valves are a hard-seat design and should only be used for hydraulic applications.
The function of a needle valve is to control the flow of hydraulic fluid. Closing the knob of the needle valve reduces the internal orifice size, thus reducing the flow rate of oil in the line. Opening the knob of the needle valve increases the orifice size, thus increasing the flow rate of oil in the line. Anchor Fluid Power needle valves should not be used to close off flow completely. They are designed to meter the rate of flow only.
Flow control valves are similar in function to needle valves, however, they only control flow in one direction. Flow in the opposite direction is free, full, and not metered
Features of Anchor Fluid Power’s inline valves include:

Your Inline Valve SourceAnchor Fluid Power is an ISO 9001, AS 9100D, and ISO 45001 certified provider of high-performance flanges, adapters,
quick connect couplings, weld couplings, and valves for demanding fluid power applications. We produce inline valves and accessories in various sizes and configurations to meet your unique requirements.
All inline valves are produced from zinc chromate-plated carbon steel, with check valves also available in stainless steel. Durable construction allows for lasting performance in harsh operating environments. Our zinc chromate-plated valves are RoHS-complaint, while our stainless steel valves offer much higher protection against corrosion and contamination. Standard connection types are NPTF and SAE.
